Charlotte NC is a beautiful City and the people who live in it are mostly friendly caring people known for their Southern Hospitality and Charm. The City boasts a number of amazing parks and green areas even in the city center. There are many street cafe's and public table and seating where office workers can take time out to get outdoors and enjoy lunch or a coffee under the shade of the trees on a hot summers day.

With so much to be grateful for at this time of Thanksgiving, I thought it would be appropriate to share this magnificent video with you of our Queen City. Charlotte and the Greater Charlotte area situated in North Carolina are perfect places to live year round.

Charlotte is a beautiful city.There are many trees and lots of open spaces. There are a number of lakes in the area including Lake Norman, north of Charlotte and Lake Wylie South of Charlotte. There are other lakes in the area too.

The North Carolina area has a chilly winter with a few snow days, just enough to enjoy without too much hassle. The spring is beautiful and right through summer into late fall, the weather is always pleasant. 

The Carolina people love the outdoors and you will find them walking, hiking, biking, playing sports and enjoying the weather. There are a number of great golf courses in the area too. The lakes entice the water loving people. Fishing, boating, waterskiing or just socializing out on the Lake are some of our favorite things to do.

North Carolinians are great sports fanatics and support anything from American football, baseball and basketball to motor racing and golf! There is always something to do here in the Carolinas and even if there are a few rain showers in the summer months, nothing can dampen the enthusiasm of the people.

Downtown Charlotte has magnificent theater opportunities and the smaller towns around greater Charlotte are well known for their arts and culture. The nightlife is fantastic and the restaurants superb. The City Center is safe and there is always something going on downtown.

Charlotte International Airport is the hub for US Airways and with the merger with American Airlines, has become a easy place to travel from. If you travel often, for business or pleasure, Charlotte is an incredible gateway.

Education is amongst the best in the country. With wonderful schools and Universities, Colleges and specialist education services, Charlotte is hard to beat!
