The well renowned Davidson College forms the hub of many local activities and celebrations. The College is beautiful with great big red brick buildings and tall white stately columns, superb green walkways and a sports center one can only dream about. Davidson College blends the cultural and humanities, state of the art tech facilities and the sciences, producing amazing talent in every aspect of the word.
Davidson also boasts a lovely shopping area where there are all the local shops and conveniences and lot more too. Enjoy pavement restaurants, ice cream shops, coffee shops and more. There is a fantastic local weekly natural produce market which is very popular. The lawns in front of the library are often the venue for yoga or qi gong classes and Davidson is well loved for its theatrical performances which students and professors act side by side.
There is a fantastic Golf Course Community in the area - River Run - which has a country club and other facilities. It is a very popular choice to live in and the country club is well supported offering a wonderful lifestyle experience. On the whole, Davidson NC is a lovely place to call home.
